• FOLLOW ALL STATE AND FEDERAL GAME LAWS!!!!
• NO ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION BEFORE OR DURING HUNTING!!
• Know your shooting times
• NO Sky busting, KNOW YOUR TARGET!
• PLEASE HUNT FROM YOUR ASSIGNED BLIND ONLY!
• BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHER HUNTERS!
• Think GUN SAFETY, Keep your safety on until ready to fire.
• Load guns with barrel up and out of the pit
• Stay off water and ice - Guides Or Dogs will get the downed birds
• Dogs are allowed ONLY if well mannered and trained.  If your dog becomes uncontrollable, you will be asked to kennel it.
• If ducks and geese are working - pass on the ducks
• Work with each other - Not against each other
• Radios are for communication and safety - NOT small talk
• ALL Hunters, listen to your guide, they are here for your safety and to make your hunt a pleasant one. Please tip them accordingly.
• Hunting ends at 1:00 pm for daily fee Hunters. Afternoon hunts are also available for an additional fee.
• Please clean and maintain your pit and hunting area after each hunt.

UPLAND GAME BIRD HUNTING

We allow Hunting everyday from September 15 through April 1

IF YOU WISH TO HUNT ONLY WILD BIRDS, IT MAY BE DONE ONLY DURING WILD BIRD SEASON SET BY THE STATE!                                                       $50 per person to hunt wild birds only. No birds will be released. State laws and limits apply. 

ALL HUNTERS MUST HAVE HUNTING LICENSE AND HABITAT STAMP!!
ALL HUNTERS MUST HAVE MORE THAN 75% OF
UPPER BODY COVERED IN SOLID BRIGHT ORANGE!!

Guides Available with Professionally Trained Dogs! If you don't have a dog, a guide with a professional dog can be provided at an additional $50 charge per 4 Hunters. If your party is more than 4 hunters, then your guide fee will increase $20 per additional hunter.

 UPLAND GAME BIRD HUNTING PACKAGES

Bird Packages are offered from September 15 to April 1

Cabin Fever DOES allow wild bird hunting as set by the state of Illinois.
If you choose to ONLY hunt wild birds, it must be done ONLY during upland game season dates set by the state.
If you choose to hunt more birds than the state limit, a package MUST be purchased!

For Individual and Group Hunts:

• $100.00 - 6 Pheasants                                    
• $100.00 - 12 Quail
• $50 for second person on same package- example: 2 hunters, 6 pheasants for $150.
• Mixed Packages of Pheasants and Quail available.
• Guides available
• Lodging available - $25 per person, per night               

RULES & REGULATIONS

• ALL Licenses, Permits, Stamps, FOID Cards REQUIRED FOR ALL HUNTERS
• NO ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION BEFORE OR DURING HUNTING!!
• Know your hunting times
• BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHER HUNTERS!
• Our Guides are highly recommended, but you are welcome to hunt without one.
• Think GUN SAFETY, Keep your safety on until ready to fire.
• Load guns with barrel up.
• All guns MUST have a plug. No more than 3 shells per gun!
• Please pick up your spent shells. Place them into your bird pouch until finished hunting and then dispose of them into the trash barrels provided by the club.
• DO NOT SHOOT BIRDS ON THE GROUND! It is required that you wait until the bird is in flight and at least 4 foot off the ground for the protection of the working dog(s).
• Stay off water and ice - Dogs will get the downed birds should they hit the water.
• Dogs are allowed ONLY if well mannered and trained, if your dog becomes uncontrollable, you will be asked to kennel it.
• Only shoot pheasant hens if permitted. Your guide will inform you of this per hunt.
• Work with each other - Not against each other.
• ALL Hunters, listen to your guide, they are here for your safety and to make your hunt a Pleasant one. Please tip them accordingly!
