Hi Folks! Thanks for visiting our website and we hope you find this information useful. Memorial Day weekend has come and gone and we thank every one of you that came out and spent time with us over the holiday.

The month of May is officially in the books and it was an interesting one. The weather will not give us a break. There have been plenty of below average temperatures and lots of untimely rain. Looking on the bright side of things the grass is green and the lakes are full! Fuel prices continue to increase along with electricity, insurance, taxes and routine maintenance. We cannot continue to absorb all of these costs unfortunately. We will increase our nightly camping fees to $25.00 per night effective June 1, 2008. (See our camping fees for complete details.) We thank you in advance for your understanding and continued support.

Fishing continues to be good. Bass can be caught on almost any type of lure and crappies are still active. The catfish are starting to bite on a regular basis and bluegills are preparing for the spawn. Weeds are starting to show and we will be taking action to eliminate some of them so you can continue to fish from our shores.

Seasonal campsites are now FULL. If you or someone you know is interested in a future site at Cabin Fever please let us know and we will add your name to our contact list.

The Victorian House at Cabin Fever still has dates available in the months of August & September. LABOR DAY weekend is still available at this time. Contact (Rick) at 309-781-8312 for dates and details.

The best part of the camping season is just ahead and we hope you are able to take advantage of it. Your continued support of our facility is greatly appreciated and again we really do thank you.
